Do you get this feeling right after posting the story that it stopped being yours in some way? Like, letting go?
I get this feeling when my story is almost finished that I don't want it to end as I'll have to let it go and it won't be mine anymore but everyone's.
Or maybe it's just me being territorial bitch.
