I'm not that familiar with making of art, for me it's basically fitting into categories of pretty and not pretty if not for obvious flaws.
And despite the author saying that it didn't work out, I think it worked out beautifully.

Guys, throw some good Avengers fics (read Tony/Steve) at me cuz I just can't.
The last straw was a story where Tony was... guys, hold your breath, he was a virgin.
Like wtf?! The guy is a playboy and he's 40, he isn't going through his sweet 16 period, okay?! But apparently Tony was never even reaching third base.
Seriously? Was he frozen in ice as well?
You need some serious explanation to go with if Tony Stark wasn't a manwhore, okay?! But Tony being a virgin (if in not au verse, hell, au verse included) is fucking impossible.
